If I could give no stars, I would. After pre ordering a risotto whilst booking a table for a large group, on the day was given cous cous with peas, raw onion and what looked like bird seed from the local pet shop. Plus bread that no one on the table could get their teeth through. Massive disappointment. Won't ever be coming back.
Fabulous Sunday lunch with the family. Excellent food.. friendly and prompt service and reasonably priced. Definitely will be back.
Went to a Christmas party here. Lovely function room. Good beer and food. Brill kareoke. Excellent night.
Bloody fantastic pie steak and ale loads of juicy slow cooked meet wonderful juice infused gravy just as my gran would make, pastry was superb chips nostalgic. Highly recommended a pie and peas night of a weekend and include a live band to use the space at the back of the restaurant definately get more folk in around 9pm and give a bit more atmosphere...Maybe once a month?? Just a suggestion but myself and a few more couples would definately be interested. Lots of potential and an absolute gold mine could give a great community a place for fun. The pie is superb!
Lovely Sunday carvery, choice of four meats and plenty of it, and a choice of numerous veg as you would expect. Lovely restaurant with nice service and very busy. Would definitely recommend for Sunday lunch
